Though this Bosch tool is technically only a screwdriver, many reviewers report it being able to drill, and the weight/size are benefits to fall in love with. There weren’t very many negative reviews on this product, and it really shines in all but the heaviest duty circumstances.
On the negative side of life, there was one main complaint – the bit holder isn’t magnetised and can drop bits. However, if you want your magnetized, check out this video for instructions. Magnetizing a piece of metal like this bit holder is actually really easy, and all you need is a strong magnet!
The only other negative we’ve found is that the LED worklight doesn’t stay on after you let go of the trigger.
This is typical for most cordless drills, but the similarly priced and featured Makita FD01W has an exceptional worklight that stays on for a few seconds, and is definitely a tool worth checking out for just a few dollars more!
